I’m Christa Mihalek and I am the EL teacher at Jackson Elementary and Wilson Junior High Schools. This is my second year in the MPSD, and my fourth year as a teacher. I look forward to helping all of my students reach their academic potential through specialized EL-friendly instructional support.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Milwaukee. I have always been interested in language learning, which is why I decided to make a career out of it! I live in Sheboygan with my husband and our dog. In my free time I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking, reading, listening to music, and studying new languages (most recently Ukrainian!).
