Lakeland/Blue Harbor - 8th Grade

Lakeland/Blue Harbor Band Trip 2019

On Friday, April 5, 2019, the 8th grade band will be performing out of the city of Manitowoc and head to Lakeland College.  Dr. Evan Chancellor will be hearing the band perform and then provide a clinic in which he will share things we did well and things we could improve upon.  Since the Washington 8th grade band is joining us, we will also listen to their performance and clinic. Following Lakeland, both bands will head to Blue Harbor.

The cost for this festival is $16 per student.  This includes the registration, lunch, t-shirt, and the water park pass.  To help with the cost, students have had the opportunity to fundraise and use all of their profits toward the trip.  Individual accounts are kept to ensure that what students raise they can use directly to cover the cost for this trip.  The bus will depart from Wilson at 8:00 am and arrive back to Wilson at approximately 3:50 pm.  Students will be performing at Lakeland College at 9:50 am and all families are welcome to attend the free performance.

Following our performance and clinic at Lakeland College, the band will head to Blue Harbor for the afternoon.  Students will eat lunch at Blue Harbor and that is included in the $16 fee.

The $16  fee is due by Friday, March 15th.  Checks can be made payable to Wilson Junior High School.  Please remember that all payments are non-refundable.  Fundraising money can be used as well.
