Cory Erlandson, Principal

I am the principal and proud Warhawk since 2015. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, I began my career teaching history, economics, and government at Wilson and Lincoln High School in 2003. Over time, I added a Master’s degree from UW-La Crosse, National Board Certification, and served as social studies department chair. I also spent two years teaching middle school geography in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I was also able to instruct future teachers at Colorado State University and work toward my Principal licensure.

These experiences have worked together to shape my belief that all students can and must learn, my values of relationships, engagement, and growth, and my vision that when we get it right we will see Wilson students enjoying their daily experience of academic, social, and personal growth. I am deeply committed to being present and available to students and staff during the school day, advancing the Wilson vision and core values, and empowering and equipping others to be as great as they want to be.

When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my two boys, running various roads and trails, attempting to catch trout on my fly-rod, spending aimless hours on the beach, camping by alpine lakes, and watching hours and hours of Packers, Badgers, and Brewers games.

I value frequent and open communication, so please do not hesitate to call or email me with questions, concerns, personal manifestos, or oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipes.

Have a great day!
